Bingo

A recorded history of Bingo dates back to 14th Century Italy and it was originally called "Beano". It was played at county fairs with a caller drawing discs from a cigar box and players marking their cards with beans to cover the numbers called. Today, bingo is played in many different ways by millions of people all over the world, while some Bingo players still use cardboard cards and markers to cover the called numbers, many land-based bingo halls now use paper sheets where Bingo players use ink daubers to mark the called bingo numbers. Still other land-based Bingo halls have video Bingo boards that automatically post the called Bingo numbers. One session of Bingo can comprise up to 30 games of conducted within an 8 hours time frame but most casinos usually offer several two-hour sessions of Bingo games daily. Other casinos also offer a special progressive Bingo jackpot game that may literally tie together players from multiple halls.

Bingo Cards

Bingo cards are used to play various bingo games. Bingo Cards are usually made of cardboard or non-reusable paper, but more and more bingo halls are beginning to use computerized cards. Bingo cards are printed in various styles with randomized bingo numbers and when Bingo numbers are announced players either check off the boxes with a pen or marker, or use a Bingo dauber to stamp the box. US Bingo cards are 5x5 squares, with the columns labeled B-I-N-G-O and with spots contains numbers between 1 and 75, but the center square typically is a free spot, and often has the word "free" printed on it. Each player has a number of Bingo cards, which usually are 5 × 5 grids cards, but there are also 3x3 and 4x4 grid cards. You can also choose to play with a blank bingo card where to print your own numbers.

Online Bingo is the newest and by far the most exciting way to enjoy this wonderful game.
